Our 1987 Hughes/MD 500E was re-manufactured in 2001.  It offers a wide cabin allowing comfortable forward facing seating for 4 passengers.  The doors are large enough for easy entering and exiting.  The down-slide windows (one of Len's many innovations) are expanded, providing more elbow room.  The high skid gear provides for off-airport landings on rough terrain more accessible.  The auxiliary fuel tank increases the range to slightly over 3 hours of continuous flight time. Now with the addition of a MD600N, utilizing NOTAR (no Tail Rotor) technology, the possiblities are limitless. As are the seating arrangements!
