The MD500E is powered by a Rolls-Royce (probably the world leader in engine technology since the late 1800s) 250_C20B/R turbine making it the best performing helicopter in it’s class. The A-frame based cabin, used in the 500E has proven to be among the most stable, flexible –in terms of configurable layout- and crash survivable cabin designs ever. Len’s 500E can and has been used for almost any task imaginable from aerial surveys to photography and has played a major role in various film and video productions. |

Len’s latest addition to his fleet is the extremely versatile and stable MD 600N. The 600N can carry a payload of 2000 lbs and has room for up to seven passengers. Because of it’s NOTAR (No Tail Rotor) anti-torque system it is one of the quietest helicopters ever built. The NOTAR also greatly improves the stability and agility of the 600N over virtually any other standard anti-torque system helicopter. Coupled to the Rolls-Royce Allison 250-C47M engine the six blade main rotor provides the 600N with exceptional speed and durability. The 600N uses the same basic A-frame design as the 500E, the major difference being that there is even more room and flexibility in the 600N. Len’s 600N can be configured for virtually any purpose you can think of from transporting people to providing an exceptionally flexible film/video/photography production platform. The MD600N can even be a "cast member". Len has the equipment to turn this helicopter into a law-enforcement vehicle, complete with lights and sirens. |
